Making Integrated Working a Reality

A workshop for people managing and working in Sure Start Children's Centres and Extended Schools

As children's centres and extended schools start to operate, workers and managers face a new wave of challenges, such as how to integrate the services of all partners and work collaboratively in order to realise the vision for children, young people and families. Building on our work with local authorities and children's centre professionals, NDNA has developed an interactive workshop to enable children's centre teams to work together in an integrated, productive and efficient manner.

Gateshead Play Partnership

Gateshead Council has convened a Partnership which is bringing together Private, Voluntary and Statutory services to plan to increase play opportunities for children and young people in the borough and raise the profile of current play areas and services.

Over the next few months there will be the opportunity to put forward views on play development, when the Play Partnership consults with children and young people on what play means to them and where and when and how they would like more opportunities to play.
