Out of School Club Proposal
Whickham Fellside Community Primary School would like to invite applications to run a breakfast and out of school club within the school from September 2007. The school would like to open up a breakfast club for up to 30 children from 7.50am - 8.50am and an out of school club for up to 24 children from 3.20pm - 6pm.
Both clubs' will operate term time only, with scope for further development to holiday periods depending on demand. The club will be based in the schools library with additional use of the school hall, dining area and outside facilities.
The club will be for the benefit of children within the school as a priority, then the opportunity may be offered to other schools depending on availability. The club will be for children age 4 years and over.
Fellside Community Primary School occupies an attractive hilltop site and serves an area of largely owner occupied housing. The school is full with a substantial waiting list for places.
There is a friendly, positive caring ethos at Fellside. Our parents and wider community are very supportive and naturally keen for the very best for their children. It is our aim to provide this.
The head teacher and governors are committed to continuous school improvement.
