Christmas Events and Activities at The Elgin Centre

More events with a festive theme have been organised to take place at the Elgin Centre throughout December.

CHRISTMAS PANTO - Jack and the Beanstalk
Tuesday 11th December, 12.30pm - 2.30pm
Recommended for children 2yrs and over.
Cost: 50p per child and 50p per accompanying adult.

UNDER 5's CHRISTMAS PARTY
Thursday 13th December, 10.00am - 12 noon
Come along for party games, Christmas crafts, goody bag and to meet Santa.
Cost: £4.20 per ticket.

ROUTE 26 OVER 5's CHRISTMAS PARTY
Friday 14th December, 5.00pm - 7.00pm
Disco for 5's and over, includes present.
£2.00 per ticket.

CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT
Tuesday 18th December, 10am

Change of Date - Christmas Events at Teams and Dunston Sure Start Children's Centres

Please note new dates for the Teams and Dunston Sure Start Children's Centres Christmas events.

Teams' Christmas party will now be held on Tuesday the 11th of December from 10.00am - 12.00 noon and Dunston's will be held on Friday the 14th of December from 10.00am - 12 noon.

Active Kidz Easter and Summer Play Workers

Gateshead Council are currently looking for staff to work on Easter and Summer Holiday Schemes. The schemes run in the 5 neighbourhood areas across the borough, Monday to Friday and cater for 5 to 19 year olds including those with specific support needs/ behavioural needs.

Under 5's Christmas Parties

Tiny Teds Creche are holding two Christmas parties this year at Gateshead Leisure Centre and the Elgin Centre.

Details are as follows:

Gateshead Leisure Centre
Tuesday 11th December, 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Elgin Centre
Thursday 13th December, 10am - 12.00noon

Tickets are £4.20 each and are on sale now from both venues (All children must be accompanied by an adult and tickets are non-refundable). This includes a present from Santa and a goody box. Activities include party games, face painting, bouncy castle, parachute games and Christmas crafts.
