Christmas and New Year at Birtley Sure Start Children's Centre

Birtley Sure Start Children's Centre have two great Christmas events coming up and more activities starting in the new year.

Two events will be held in December:·

Christmas Messy Day at Birtley Community Centre
Monday 17 December, 1.00pm - 3.00pm
There will be many arts and crafts activities, story and singing time, fruit and juice.

Christmas Party at Birtley Leisure Centre
Wednesday 19 December, 1.00pm - 3.00pm
There will be soft play and bouncy castle, games, a bite to eat and a very special visit from Santa!

Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Highfield Sure Start Children's Centre Events

More events and activites have been organised by Highfield Sure Start Children's Centre.

Gym Babies, Highfield Children's Centre
Wednesdays, 10.00am - 11.00am
For children aged 6 months up to walking confidently.

Gym Tots, Highfield Children's Centre
Tuesdays, 1.30pm - 2.15pm
For children aged 14 months - 4 years.

Stay and Play, Highfield Children's Centre
Starts Thursday 6 December 2007, 3.15pm - 4.15pm
Construction, arts and crafts, sensory play and lots more for children aged 1 - 5.

Decorate the Christmas Tree, Highfield Children's Centre
Friday 7 December 2007, 9.15am - 11.15am

Trip to Whitehouse Farm
Saturday 8 December 2007, 9.30am - 2.45pm
Visit Santa Claus, the Christmas Fairy, Mrs Claus and the Elves in their enchanted Winter Wonderland.
Prices:
Adults: £6.10
Children: £5.10
Under 3's: Free
Plus £1.00 for each bus.

Chopwell Children's Centre

New groups and programs have been organised by Chopwell Children's Centre.

Lullabies a fortnightly social group for children under 12 months began on Tuesday the 27th of November and continues to run at Blackhall Mill Community Centre from 1.30 - 3.00pm. Activities include songs and stories, art and craft, treasure baskets as well as information and advice. For further information contact Tammy Archer, Parent Outreach Worker on 07795 238 982.
